![]() I did mention that ASP supports PC, Mac and Linux. I've contacted the ColorPerfect people again with a link to so we'll see if anything comes of it. Once for the plug-in itself, and once for a copy of Photoshop Elements 8.0. ![]() I've effectively paid twice for the plug-in. They claim that even though the plug-in looks like it works with PSP and produces the same results it doesn't do. The ColorPerfect people say that even though PSP can use 16 bit plug-ins and can read and use 16 bit raw files from a scanner (it's just a tiff with no adjustments applied not an actual format) it still doesn't "make extensive use of something called the Photoshop Registry". To simply apply a White Balance fix to the entire image without subtracting the film base first is still a distortion of what's there to be extracted. Each film has it's own characteristics, much like each camera model has theirs. It corrects for the film base of a scan based on the film. If you are running AfterShot or AfterShot Pro 2.1.2.10 or earlier, this update includes major improvements to AfterShot’s underlying technology framework. These improvements help us deliver support for high-resolution displays, improved performance and other benefits. Thanks for the advice but ColorPerfect, as far as I know, is a one of a kind. One person may not be enough to change their business strategy, but you never know. In this case, if you were to switch products, drop them a quick note and tell them why. I have iCorrect One Click which makes Perfectly Clear pale in comparison.īesides, voting with your feet can sometimes motivate a vendor to reconsider what they will support. PictoColor makes some great color correction plugins that work fine with PSP.
